ArcheryHunting.com was developed as a labor of love for bow hunting and the outdoors. This site and the social media accounts associated with it (at YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest) were all developed with one thing in mind....You! This website is for The Everyday Bow Hunter who wants to get started in archery hunting or wants to be a better archery hunter. We don't take ourselves too seriously and neither should you. We are on this journey together, so let's have some fun while we do it.

Who are we?

My name is Mike Manley and I am the owner of ArcheryHunting.com and the "The Everyday Bow Hunter" profiles on Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook. This site and its other channels are hosted by my wife, my two sons, a few other family members, and I; who all reside in south-central Pennsylvania and have hunted on public land all our lives.

Veteran-Owned Business

I retired from the U.S. Army after 21 years of service in October 2010. I served in the U.S. Army's 5th Special Forces Group (Airborne) and was a Green Beret, Ranger, Airborne, Air Assault, and a Veteran of multiple combat tours including Desert Storm, Kosovo, Afghanistan, the Horn of Africa, and five (5) tours in Iraq.

Archery Hunting Saved My Life

When I retired from the Army in 2010, I was suffering from multiple injuries, massive hearing loss, and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Archery Hunting saved my life. When I left the military, my head was in a very bad place and with multiple disabilities; I didn't know what I could do to replace the void in my life that leaving the military had created. Thanks to my Dad and brother, I was able to to turn to bow hunting to bring my life back into perspective. Now I am bringing everything I have learned and am still learning to You via ArcheryHunting.com and The Everyday Bow Hunter.

What is ArcheryHunting.com?

This website and its associated channels are here to help beginners, intermediate, and advanced bow hunters learn and help others learn how to be better bow hunters, share our experiences, and find the best gear for bow hunting. None of us are experts, we are just a bunch of individuals who love archery hunting.

That's why I use The Everyday Bow Hunter for my social medial profiles. That's what I am and that's who I want to talk to on this website. We are all in this together. We hunt the hard stuff on Public land in Pennsylvania and wherever we can hunt in other states and want to share our lessons learned with you.

Helping Veterans Find Their Way

The site is also here to help veterans find their way. Archery Hunting helped me and I want to help other veterans like me who are looking to fill the void in their life that leaving the military created. If I can help one veteran with this website, then I will be extremely thankful.

Let's all come together and help one another and enjoy the hunting riches that America provides for us! I don't care if you use a traditional bow, compound bow, or a crossbow. Archery Hunting will unlock doors that will free your mind and creating lasting friendships. Let me help you!
