What is the Best Scent Control for Deer Hunting?

The best scent control for deer hunting is hunting the wind.  This means that by always staying downwind of where you expect deer to travel or come by the hunting spot you selected, the deer will never smell you.  This is by far the single best method of scent control for hunting. 

That being said, the wind doesn’t always cooperate and we also have thermals in different locations to deal with that may cause winds to change direction and swirl.  That is why I personally use a multifaceted approach to this when I hunt deer.  Check out my scent control routine here.
